Mims Motors Alabama and beyond.
Mims Motors Corporation has been working diligently to improve our products before we launch, and due to unforeseen circumstances we were forced to make drastic changes in the way we operate.
This is a good thing as it has made us dig deep, to create solutions where we had not previously thought possible.
Recently Mims Motors cut all ties with our overseas manufacturers and suppliers, after experiencing the supply chain issues in bringing product in from overseas.
The turbulence surrounding governmental policy effectively reduced our ability to operate as efficiently as possible and without a dependable time schedule for production materials it made moving forward with our production processes impossible.
Therefore the company made the hard decision to cut ties with our overseas suppliers and focus on domestic production.
Therefore we are proud to announce that Mims Motors will produce our vehicles with 100% USA sustainable materials, and work force.
This is just the beginning, as we will begin production of our vehicles locally in the countries, wherever our products are sold.
In the beginning the United States of America will be the focal point of production Domestically for both international and domestic markets, but eventually we will produce products locally, expanding the market for EVs with units designed and built by local employees with sustainable materials.
We will begin training over 7,000 employees in the State of Alabama as soon as our training program is certified, and will proceed that with the production of our sustainable materials processes, which will remove over 100 million metric tons of biomass waste, yield additional jobs, clean energy, clean water and sustainable materials with which to production of our products.
We are proud to say that due to our commitment, we will no longer be seeking outside funding for the company, production of our vehicles or products and remaining privately held for the foreseeable future.
This is a very important step on our part, as outside funding commitments that did not materialize, are the primary reasons why it took so long for the company to get off the ground.
It is extremely difficult to launch a company when you have to basically sell the company to the people who are giving you the money to get started which is never enough at the end of the day.
There is a place for venture capital in the world, and we will never blame anyone for attempting to do what they do best.
However we will proudly stand on our own two feet, as we pulled ourselves out of the dirt, weathered the storms and can see the shore much stronger than when we began this journey.
We thank you for your support, your patience and perseverance during this incredibly challenging journey, and look forward to seeing you in dealerships soon.
Best regards,
Eric Alan Mims
Chairman of the Board.
